Evaluation of GEAPs: a tool for enhancing gender organizational change

Gender Equality Plans face different kinds of challenges and difficulties in their implementation and this affects to the final results and transformations generated. The promotion of gender organizational change is not an easy task and the evaluation can play an important role to enhance learning and think collaboratively about strategies and ways of making organizations more gender-responsive.
This communication presents the main features of the GENOVATE evaluation model and specifically describes the proposed Guidelines for Evaluating GEAPs. In addition, it explores the most important results, lessons learned and challenges related to the evaluation of GEAPs.
